A Public Service Announcement

First off an apology. I did not get the extra elements done for Let's Go Fly A Kite. I will, but not today.

The reason why is this: I have a laptop with a teeny tiny hard drive. So I have always kept my scrapbooking and designing stuff on a portable external hard drive. Well, last Saturday I was finishing this kit, and my son climbed onto my lap and knocked my EHD to the hard wood floor. It died.

I lost EVERYTHING. All of my freebies I have ever downloaded, all of the kits I've paid for, and EVERY SINGLE LAYOUT I HAVE EVER DONE. Luckily, MOST of the LOs I've done, I have uploaded to Costco to print, so I can just order a CD of the jpeg files, but the editable PSD documents are gone. My last four layouts I did, I hadn't uploaded and I only made a quick page out of one of them. Luckily, I hadn't deleted my photos from my laptop yet, but I'd thought about it. I am soooo glad I had not done that yet.

I took my defunct EHD to my local computer guru, and he said I have to send it to one of those specialty places that charges an arm and a leg. I don't know what this means, but he said "it doesn't spin". Which roughly translated means, "Your EHD is fried, that will be $1,000 to set your files free."

So please back up your stuff. All of it. Back up your EHD. I don't want anyone to go through what I am going through. This whole week has been sureal for other reasons as well, but the EHD REALLY put me behind.

Let's Go Fly A Kite Paper Add-On

In this paper pack, 4 patterned, 3 distressed and torn solids.

I hope you are all enjoying this kit! Don't forget to send me your LOs when you use this kit, I will put it on my blog post this weekend!

I tried some new stuff on these papers, so please let me know what you think.

Let's Go Fly A Kite Elements Add On

I have to apologize, if you downloaded the first set of elements before this Tuesday afternoon, you should re-down load. Even though I quality checked the elements, some weird wonky grey lines showed up in the lady bug border on the striped lady bugs... I am so sorry!

Also, I decided to make this a full kit, so tomorrow there will be some REALLY fun papers, and on Friday some new elements! Make sure to come back to download them....

Tag! You're it!

Alton jumped queue and met Donald Duck for the first time on Katie Scott's birthday.

I was tagged by Julie, fellow Gingerscraps CT extraordinaire.

This is easy. Go to your photo folder. From the 6th Folder, display the 6th picture.... then go and tag 6 unwilling people to do the same. :) The post a note on their blog to let them know.

I tag Charmaine, Rose, Kathy, Stephanie, Sarah, and Belinda. Also, if you are still reading my blog because you haven't recently given up the internet for God or your family, consider yourself tagged too.

Let's Go Fly A Kite

This kit is my fourth in the Brownie Scraps Design Challenge.

Having a toddler who loves music has paid off in this colorful kit! My son LOVES Mary Poppins, and the palette for this kit reminded me of Burt's jacket during the chalk painting pictures scenes.

This kit contains:
10 papers (6 patterned, 4 solid)
2 Border
3 Word Art
2 Frames
2 Kites
1 umbrella

There will be an add-on of the elements, so make sure you check my blog everyday for the newest installment of the kit. :)

Download links have expired

And lastly, if you make a layout with my kit, please comment and leave a link. I will post it for all to see! Thank you so much for everyone who sent me layouts last week!

More A Star Danced Layouts
