Tonight's Speed Scrap

1. Choose 4 papers and 1 photo.
2. Back your photo with three of your papers and use the last paper for the background.
3. Add a string and a tag.
4. Add 4 flowers, 2 leaves and 1 other element of your choice. Giving you this instruction a minute or two early so you can hunt those down :) (flowers, star clusters, those are the same, right?)
5. Add 2 copies of a flying animal. (SOME elephants CAN fly!)
6. Date your layout, but you can't put all of the date on the tag; it must at least be partially dated some other way...for example, a date slider, text written on one of your papers, etc.
7. Final instruction! You may journal on your tag (and elsewhere if you wish!).

I totally rebelled on my speed scrap. But I LOVED how it came out!

Today's Speed Scrap

1. pick at least 5 papers...at least 1 should be solid for your background. the others can be solid or patterned if you like

2. choose 3 pictures, they should be from the same day or event...

3. forgot to tell you what to do with the other papers...oops! sorry!
Take your other papers and make circles and rectangles and arrange them in the middle of your page from left to right in different sizes

4. choose a frame and copy it for all 3 pics...arrange your pics on your patterned papers...the whole picture doesn't have to be on the papers, but some part of it should

5. now add your elements...behind your frames, between your papers...but in the same area as all your patterned papers and pics...

6. now add your title, either on the top portion or bottom...whichever you don't add your title to, add some journaling or a date...

Thanks for a great Speed Scrap Tara!

Today was my first SS with my new computer. OMG! I am IN LOVE!

I used the Amanda Heimann Collab, Tomfoolery for this layout.

Speed Scrap!

Here is my layout I did during this afternoon's speed scrap.

Here are the instructions:

1. Pick 5 papers. One should be solid and have worn edges. The other 4 should be patterned.
Place the patterned paper as your back ground, and place the worn edged paper on top.
If you do not have any worn papers in your stash, shrink the top solid paper so that it covers most of the patterned paper with just a little bit of pattern showing through.
Save the other papers for the next step.

2. Pick two pictures. Crop them the same size and shape, no bigger than 2 inches high and no bigger than 3 inches wide. You can leave them square if you want, or rectangular.
Crop your three remaining papers to the same exact shape/size.
Then, arrange them on your page in a vertical row, alternating photo and paper.

3. Pick either 2 different colored, or two different fasteners to "fasten" your papers and photos.

4. Place a string or element border behind your paper and photos... peaking out some.

5. Element up ladies! Buttons, flowers, umbrellas whatever floats your boat, but don't let the elements take over your papers and photos.

6. Title your page. Use colors from your background paper and accent papers (not the worn paper) to make your title. If you've done a speed scrap with me before, you know I am a BIG fan of the word art-y looking titles.

7. Post to the speed scrap gallery and post a link back here so we can all leave love. PLEASE do not forget to credit the designer(s) whose kit you used for the page you did. :)

I used the Amanda Heimann kit, Magicial Memories for this LO.

Snow IS Real!

I did this layout during the Speed Scrap at Gingerscraps today.
I used Nicole from Digi-designs by Nicole's speed scrap.
Here are the instructions if you missed the SS:

1. Choose at least 3 pictures... You can have more than three, but you must have at least three. Choose pictures that you would like to journal about. (There will be a journaling instruction later on.)

2. Use as many papers are you want - but the background paper needs to be solid

3. Create an element cluster (any size, any elements) and place it on your page UNDER your photo.

4. Add some string or ric-rac

5. Use a repeating word somewhere on your page. Be creative.

6. Title your layout with 3 words.

7. Add journaling on some sort of journaling block (it can’t just be typed on your background paper) and date your layout.Add any other finishing touches that you would like. Then go post your layout on the finish line. Make sure to leave love for everyone and tell them what you liked about their layout!

I used the Ziggle Designs kit, White Christmas for this layout.
