Name That Kit... and a freebie mini!

Okay, I have been working on this kit since before SYTYCD started. I originally thought I was going to call it Honeymoon on Maui, because that is where I went with my husband and I thought it was cute.

That title is no longer speaking to me. (I still may go back to that.) So here's there deal. You get a freebie mini.; you then reply with with a perfect title for me. Who ever suggests the title I pick, wins the kit for free when it comes out! Whoot!

It's feminine, it has some Hawaiian floral elements, a palm tree, some bamboo... strings, buttons, stitches, frames....

I have a brand new kit out today, so make sure you check out the rest of my blog to see the other freebie I have up and my new kit!

Here is my part of the train!
Freebie expired

While you are waiting for 4shared to let you download, why not check out the Gingerscrap's forum? We are starting a Digi-scrap Boot Camp on Sunday. Saturday is the last day to sign up and the challenges start Sunday! It's free, but you need to sign up to have access to the training and tutorials!

We are also hosting a speed scrap every day in the month of May! Did you know that a speed scrap a day will keep the bad mojo away? Check the Gingerscraps Blog for the Speed Scrap Calendar. Saturday night we even have a "Who needs sleep? Night Owl Speed Scrap" hosted by me!

The next stop on the trip is Charmaine's blog. Her post will be up a little after 9... check back then. For now, return to Ginger's blog and get the rest of the train.

Happy Scrapping and downloading!

Step One: Download from the links above.
Step Two: Make a gorgeous Layout and post it here.
Step Three: If your layout is chosen as the best LO, we each get a $5 Brownie Scraps Gift Certificate!

If you do download my kit and do a layout, PLEASE comment and leave me a link to your layout so I can leave you some love. Go and download Charmaine's kit too while you are at it. I also made my friend Kate come along for the ride so get her kit too! Plus there are over 30 other free kits there!

By the way, the highlight of this kit for me are the extracted elements. My photographer for these elements was my friend Rose Pierce of Just Add Color Photography. :)

Sophisticated Grunge Mini-kit add on!

This month Amber is hosting a color challenge at Digital Candy.

This is the color palette:

Does it look familiar? It did to me. That's because Amber chose colors from her popular Sophisticated Grunge kit.

I decided to try my hand at paper making.

What do you think? I made the three papers with the color palette Amber gave us. The textures of the papers are textures I made myself from photos I took at Disneyland on Friday. The frame was a combination effort. I used one of my papers and flowers and a ribbon from Amber's kit. Which you can buy here.

Please let me know what you think.... I am very feedback oriented, and your comments and suggestions really help! Enjoy!
